Coproductions

Pickled Image has developed a unique element to creating their shows through co-productions and collaborations with other partners. These partners range from local play writes such as Toby Hulse (who was involved with The Chatterbox, The Granddad Project and The Lost World at Bristol Old Vic) or Mervyn Miller (War Horse Associate and puppeteer.) All of our theatre productions have been funded by Arts Council England, with additional support from Awards for All and Creative Partnerships Bristol. Internationally Pickled Image has developed a strong relationship with Nordland Visual Theatre situated in the artic, in one of Norway’s most spectacular landscapes - the Lofoten Islands. The theatre plays a key role in developing and promoting visual theatre in Norway with the ambition to bring international companies to produce and create shows with the theatre.
