Probably the show, which has put Pickled Image on the theatrical map! The production was created in 2006 in co-production with Nordland Visual Theatre and has been performed extensively throughout the UK and across the world between 2006-2009. The show explores the fictional life of Joshka Malouth a one-time apprentice to the great Harry Houdini! On top of a towering pile of luggage an old man sits and contemplates the fragments of his life, memories are contained in tattered souvenirs and threadbare mementoes buried deep within the pile of suitcases. As the bags open a cast of bizarre and unusual characters emerge to reveal moments from his past, the performance is a visual treat and accompanied by an exquisite soundtrack written and composed by Simon Preston.
