In 2008 Pickled Image created ‘Mange Tout’ for the French street theatre company Delit De Façade whose previous productions have explored using windows for puppet performances. Delit Façade company invited four different European artists to invent and stage four short stories to take place in one or two windows in different buildings of a host town. Pickled Image were commissioned to write, design and direct a completely new piece of work to be premiered France’s biggest street theatre festival Chalon Dans La Rue July 2008. Taking inspiration from everyday life in an urban setting ‘Mange Tout’ was created, a dark, grotesque, hilarious tale of an old woman who has a fascination for pigeons and a son with an insatiable appetite!

Think ‘League of Gentlemen’ done with puppets! And that will explain the tone of the piece!
